Who should attend: Staff working with infants, toddlers and families in the home or caregiving setting (child care, home visiting, playgroups, etc.) or administrators who want foundational information regarding social and emotional development to share with staff.

Series 1 This no-cost series offers 5 webinars on typical and atypical social and emotional development of infants and toddlers, covering topics such as temperament, attachment, nurturing environments and more, using the National CSEFEL standardized modules. Additionally, several coaching calls occur between webinars to provide a peer-to-peer learning community for sharing successes, barriers and ideas for using information from the webinars. Additionally, 1 hr. coaching calls occur between webinars to provide a learning community format to share successes, barriers and ideas for implementing strategies from the webinars.

Series 2  This no-cost series includes five webinars, which provide participants with easy to use, practical and research-informed strategies (from CSEFEL, DECA & More!) to support the social and emotional health of infants, young children and their families.  Strategies can be linked to the DECA-I/T and ASQ: SE tools.  Additionally, 1 hr. coaching calls occur between webinars to provide a learning community format to share successes, barriers and ideas for implementing strategies from the webinars.

NEW Webinar on Early Childhood Trauma: This webinar will provide a foundational overview of what trauma is, the impact for young children, signs and symptoms, caregiving strategies to support resilience and referral options.

 *Important Note: For Series 1 and 2, it is important that each person register, versus one person registering for a group if CEU's are to be granted. We recommend participants sign up for all of the webinars and coaching calls but it is not mandatory for participation. For those who attend all of series 1 and/or series 2, 7.5 hours of no-cost Social work CEUs are offered for each through the Michigan Department of Community Health.  For a fee, SCECH's (State Continuing Education Contact Hours) are offered through CCRESA for Series 1, pending for Series 2.  Additionally, all content ties to MI-AIMH competency areas and MDE Early Childhood Standards of Quality for Infant and Toddler Programs.
