This short course will address the use of the Auditory-Verbal Approach in early childhood (birth to age 6). Typical auditory development and a learning guide for fostering auditory development with children who have hearing loss will be addressed. Learn what to target in the early years of hearing aid use and what to do while waiting for a cochlear implant. Various therapy ideas will also be discussed.
