This Conference is Sponsored by:
Center for Creative Play®

TARGET AUDIENCE: Play is a life long activity and the foundation for all formal education. Play environments should support and encourage the emotional, physical, cognitive, and social development of every child. When planning play opportunities it is important to take into consider a wide range of abilities and to consider “hidden” disabilities such as autism. Participants will learn why it is important to integrate a variety of play experiences into the lives of every child and will receive suggestions for enhancing play for children of all abilities.

Participants will learn:
• That play is an essential developmental experience for every child
• How play experience can be modified and enhanced for children of all abilities
• About the seven principles of Universal Design
• To identify barriers to accessibility and inclusion
