The IDA is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, family-centered, infant-toddler evaluation process, which may be used to determine eligibility for Early On®. The IDA is for professionals from various disciplines who are responsible for assessing the development of infants and toddlers.The IDA Training is offered in a 3-day series.

IDA Day 1 and Day 2 are offered back-to-back, and Day 3 is scheduled for 8 weeks later. Participants register for Days 1, 2, and 3 together.
1.5 State Board of Education Continuing Education Units (1.5 SB-CEUs) will be granted for interested individuals who participate fully in all 3 sessions.
Each training session can accommodate twelve 2-person teams (24 participants total). Each team will also be responsible for video-taping administration of the IDA and the parent interview to complete the training.
Each team must purchase its own IDA kit which includes manuals and assessment materials. Teams must bring the kits (including manuals, assessment materials, and toys) to the first and second days of the training.
