This Training & TA session will provide the federal and state requirements for meeting the 45-day timeline (State Performance Plan Indicator #7). Emphasis will be on the implementation of this requirement in the particular service area. Discussion will center on strategies and changes necessary for achieving compliance. Each participant is required to bring a child's file. During the session, participants will examine the file to learn how documentation on the IFSP may or may not illustrate compliance with the 45-day timeline requirement. Documentation of acceptable justification for not meeting the timeline will also be discussed.

This T&TA session will be tailored to the specific needs of a service area; therefore, registration will be limited to participants within the designated service area.
