Michigan has the good fortune of hosting Jan Moss, Director of Community Leadership and Advocacy at the Center for Learning and Leadership, Oklahoma's Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities(UCEDD) to work with parents to “Tell their Stories” to college students who are preparing for careers in early intervention-related work. On August 21 she has time to present to EOT&TA staff and to Early On Coordinators on strategies for improving child outcomes. We have been working on timelines and settings – and have made significant progress. This day we will focus on supporting child outcomes.

Jan Moss brings a depth of experience and knowledge. She provides technical assistance and training to families and agencies on leadership initiatives for families. She is Core Faculty for the Oklahoma LEND, Maternal and Interdisciplinary Leadership Initiative, Oklahoma University Department of Pediatrics. She is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences. Jan is the primary author of the Child and Personal Preference Indicators, a tool for individualized intervention, education and vocation. She serves on national committees and has co-authored several documents with the National LEND Family Discipline Workgroup. In 2007 she was identified as one of the 50 most influential women in Oklahoma by the Journal Record periodical. She is the parent of two children with developmental disabilities.

We invite you to join us for the inspiring and informative workshop lead by Jan Moss. She will bring a high level of technical expertise and skills, as well as keen knowledge of national trends.
