The Social-Emotional Development of Young Children*
This program will explore and identify key characteristics of healthy social and emotional development and indicators of potential problems. Strategies for providers and parents to help encourage healthy social-emotional development as well as the important connections to later successful functioning will be provided in an interactive and stimulating environment.

*The Social-Emotional Development of Young Children is required to take the other three programs.

Working with Challenging Behavior of Young Children
Sometimes children will behave in ways that concern a family or care-giver. These behaviors may interfere with the child's ability to get along with others or express themselves in ways that are appropriate. This program will assist in better understanding the purpose and function of children's challenging behavior and provide options for helping children to better manage themselves. Concrete strategies and intervention guidelines and checklist will be provided.
