In December 2004, the Reauthorization of IDEA mandated each state to develop a State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report (APR) that addresses indicators of successful early intervention systems. As a result of the IDEA requirements and a federal assessment process, each state must:

1. Develop and submit an annual State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report;
2. Report Family Outcomes data;
3. Report Child Outcomes data.

This training will assist personnel in understanding and implementing their requirements for submission of local Child Outcomes data in Michigan.
