This is a specifically designed training for Early Head Start providers who are also serving as Early On Service Coordinators.

This training will focus on 2 areas of interest:
SPP (State Performance Plan)
Indicator #3: Child Outcomes and the IFSP Outcomes for the child and family.

There will be a brief review of the IFSP/IEP State approved form also. The Objectives for this training are listed below:

• SPP Child Outcome Measurement:
• Participants will understand why we need to collect outcome data
• Participants will differentiate between functional outcomes versus domains
• Participants will gain essential knowledge for completing the COSF
• Participants will understand how to involve the family in the outcome measurement process IFSP/IEP Child/Family Outcomes (Goals)
• Participants will understand how to proceed from initial family discussions to mutually identified functional outcomes
• Participants will know how Present level is applicable to identifying steps and strategies
• Participants will be knowledgeable in documenting steps and strategies within the natural environment
• Participants will be able to document Early On services and other services that support the IFSP/IEP Outcomes
