Enhancing Connections for Babies, Families & Communities
This annual training event, sponsored by the Head Start and Child Care Bureaus, is a wonderful opportunity to learn about exemplary work in he infant and family field. This year's theme is “Continuity from Pre-Birth to Five: Enhancing Connections for Babies, Families & Communities.” The early years matter! Each one of us has a unique and vital role in nurturing very young children and their families. It is our collective effort that leads to success in supporting families and the positive growth and development of children pre-birth to five. We must harmonize our efforts on behalf of babies, toddlers and their families to provide quality, comprehensive, culturally relevant and continuous services as they grow. The Institute planning committee has worked diligently to create a training experience that addresses the diverse needs and interests of early care and education professionals working in Early Head Start and child care programs. The Institute provides an opportunity for participants to strengthen their foundation as professionals who help babies, toddlers and their families build a strong foundation for their lives.
