Details:

Through reflection and discussion, this session will explore the ecological perspective of social emotional development to include, behavioral milestones of infants and young children within the context of caring relationships and the affects of the care giving environment. Furthermore participants will explore and discuss simple strategies to enhance adult practices associated with social and emotional well-being within home and center based settings.
  • Participants will understand and begin to recognize critical typical and atypical social and emotional milestones of very young children
  • Participants will learn simple, best practice promotion and prevention strategies for building social emotional health in infants and young children helping them to bounce back in life!
