This half day training offers Early On^® providers the information and resources in order to support families and children as they transition from Early On to Preschool Special Education at age three. The presentation clarifies the required steps of transition and highlights the following:

• transition as a process
• service coordinator role and responsibilities
• procedural safeguards related to transition
• timelines  and documentation
• the key elements of the transition process
• early childhood special education-options for placement       
  
• Child and Family Outcomes 

This training is designed to provide a forum for discussion and problem solving.  The training focus is to apply knowledge, discuss challenges, and exchange effective strategies related to the transition process.  Participants are encouraged to complete the online Transition Module prior to attending the in person training.
