Attend in person OR reserve your teleconference rooms and participate in distance learning of Procedural Safeguards.  This half-day training addresses the Procedural Safeguards required in Early On^® with emphasis placed on the areas pertaining to the protection of the rights of the child and family throughout the IFSP process.  These areas relate specifically to: confidentiality of child and family records; written notice and native language; consent (parents are fully informed of all information relevant to the activity for which consent is sought); and resolution of disagreements.  Discussion will also include the responsibility of service coordinators/providers in ensuring families receive and understand their rights.  Impact of revised State Plan will be highlighted. SB-CEU's available pending approval.
