Kathy Szenda Wilson brings over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, community development, and systems building to her efforts to improve lives of children and their families. She is the Founder & current Co-Executive Director of BC Pulse. She currently serves as Battle Creek's Ward 4 City Commissioner. Her strengths include facilitation, coaching, storytelling, training, empathy and weaving together seemingly disconnected things.

Maria Ortiz Borden brings over 20 years of experience in fund development, program development + management, building organizational sustainability + capacity. She is currently Co-Executive Director of BC Pulse. Maria has a passion for working with organizations and institutions to improve the outcomes for children and families.

- Trained anti-racism/anti-bias facilitator + organizer (YWCA, CrossRoads/ERACCE, and The Truth & Titus Collective)
- Leadership That Works’ Certified Community Coach
