Webinar: Build Up/Help Me Grow Post Pilot Recommendations

Throughout the Help Me Grow/Build Up Pilot, collaboration with participants and partners has been central to our work. We remain deeply committed to shaping an approach that truly works for both families and ISDs. As we enter the final year of the pilot, we are developing a proposed statewide model for public awareness and intake, informed by the feedback, insights, and experiences shared across Michigan. To date, this process has included:

• Surveys of pilot sites and partners
• Interviews with Help Me Grow affiliates
• Ongoing conversations with ISDs and early childhood stakeholders
• A post-pilot planning committee representing diverse roles and regions

Using this feedback, we have developed a proposed statewide intake workflow for children ages 3-5.

Before finalizing and sharing recommendations with the Michigan Department of Education Office of Special Education, we invite you to an informational webinar on Wednesday, May 20 from 11:30-12:30 to review the workflow and provide feedback.

During the webinar, we will:

• Share key themes from stakeholder feedback
• Review the proposed statewide intake workflow
• Provide time for questions and discussion
• Share a follow-up survey for additional input

We recognize the short timeline as we finalize recommendations for MDE. The webinar will be recorded and shared, along with a survey we invite the field to complete by early June.
