The goals of the MDCH/EHDI 2004-2005 Michigan Early Hearing Interventionists/Parents Conference are to increase the skill and knowledge base of childhood specialists who work with families of young children with hearing loss and to provide an opportunity for parents to learn about early intervention services. The ultimate purpose of training is to improve hearing health care service delivery for the 0-3 year old population and their families.This conference will meet National EHDI Goal 3, Objective 2: States will provide opportunities to Part C and other intervention service providers to receive training on specific issues related to deafness and hearing loss.
