Wraparound Training: Three Day Facilitator Training

The Resource Coordinator training is for new Wraparound facilitators/coordinators, but is appropriate for workers, supervisors and parents, who are interested in the process of facilitating child and family teams. This will prepare participants with the basic knowledge necessary to begin coordinating/facilitating the Wraparound process. It will cover all ten steps of the wraparound process and highlight the purpose of the community team. The Resource Coordinator/Facilitator training is a three-day training and participants must attend all three days in order to get a certificate of attendance. We cannot make any exceptions due to the group exercises.

The New Resource Coordinator training is April 6,7,8,2005. Each daily session will be from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and is being held at the Hampton Inn 525 North Canal road in Lansing Michigan (517) 627-8381. (Directions attached). This training is co-sponsored by the Family Independence Agency and the Department of Community Health.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS April 1, 2005

This training is limited to 30 participants, therefore registrations are being accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Coffee is provided in the mornings. Lunch is provided each day. All other meals travel expenses, and any overnight expenses are the responsibility of individual participants and/or their agency. If special arrangements for parents are needed please indicate needs on your registration form. If you are staying overnight then please request the state rate for lodging.
