The purpose of this training is to develop skills in participants that will enable them to develop outcomes with families clearly and succinctly. Outcomes must address the parents' concerns and the results of the developmental evaluation. Emphasis is placed on the gathering of family information and how to utilize it in the writing of unique and family-centered outcomes that can be integrated into the family routine. This training is a pre-requisite for Outcomes level 2 training, which will cover the development of steps, strategies and choosing of services. It is a half-day training offering.
