The HELP Strands is a curriculum-based developmental assessment for use with infants and toddlers. It covers the core developmental domains and has been structured to provide a more precise framework for assessment and planning. Developmental levels, strengths, and needs within each domain can be easily identified for curriculum assessment and individualized planning. This 3 to 6 hour training will detail scoring and determining developmental levels, strengthening skills in utilizing the HELP as an on-going assessment, involving parents in enhancing the development of their child. Support will be given in understanding how to connect HELP with the results of a multidisciplinary evaluation. The HELP at Home can be best utilized in the child's natural environment.
