Details:
Understanding and Assessing Cry Problems in Early InfancyThe purpose of this workshop is to have a broader understanding of cry problems in early infancy and provide more effective means for evaluating the situation when parents first indicate that they are having trouble with their infant's crying.
Participants will learn a comprehensive intake interview and will learn to use infant cry and sleep diaries and other methods with parents to establish possible patterns of cry/sleep/feed/wake. Using the comprehensive intake process, participants will learn to clarify how much of the crying concern resides “in” the infant “in” the parent, or “in” the parent-infant interactional system.
