join us for a series of three conference calls lead by Dr. Harvey Karp,
author of
The Happiest Baby
on the Block, and nationally known
speaker. Dr. Karp's techniques for calming fussy babies were
highlighted at the Early On® Training and Technical
Assistance Annual Conference in May 2005. As a follow-up to the conference,
EOT&TA
is delighted to now feature Dr. Karp in a series of three Spiderphone
calls focusing
on techniques from his book The Happiest Toddler on the Block. This
approach will instantly help you, as providers, teach parents techniques
to lessen
tantrums, increase cooperation, and double their fun! Learn
the best ways to discipline and solutions to problems like: picky
eating, sleep problems, toileting troubles, fears, separation worries,
and
many more!
The series of calls
will take place on October 18, October 28,
and November 11, 2005. All calls will take place at 1:00 PM.

The first 45 participants have registered
and will receive a copy of The
Happiest Toddler on the Block book
and DVD free. Individuals still interested in registering to participate
in the calls may purchase the book and DVD through Dr.
Harvey Karp's website. There is no registration fee for participating in the calls.
How it Works:
Individuals will register for each conversation separately. Participants
are encouraged to register for all four conversations.
Prior to each conversation:
- participants will receive an email that will inform them of the
pass code for entrance into the conference call
- the PowerPoint presentation will be available for download for
participants unable to connect to the web during the telephone call
During the conversation:
- there will be introductions
- Dr. Karp will
share his PowerPoint presentation as participants view it on their
computers
- time will be allotted for questions and answers
