Early On Data Webinar Recordings

Early On Data Webinars are system updates provided regularly with information about data profiles, end of year collections, changes to Michigan School Data System (MSDS) Manual, and other updates. You will find recordings of past webinars here.

To learn more about Early On Data, please visit the Early On Data Website. There are data collections for 56 service areas and for the State as a whole. There are profiles for multiple collections. Counts are those provided by the service area for the named collection. When a count is five or less, the count and percent are "masked" (**) for confidentiality purposes.

      • This webinar covers the IDEA Data Center (IDC) Part C Indicator Data Display Wizard, an easy-to-use way to generate a variety of trend charts and other infographics for service area Indicators.  Most of the counts needed for the tool are in the Early On Data Profiles; the webinar will explain which counts to pull from the Profiles, where to enter them in the Wizard, and how to copy cool charts for your stakeholders.

      The basic IDC product is available at https://ideadata.org/resources/resource/2019/part-c-indicator-data-display-wizard. A Michigan version of the spreadsheet with State level counts will be sent to registrants prior to the webinar.
