All Transition-
This Training & TA session will provide the federal and state requirements for developing transition plans for children leaving Early On (State Performance Plan Indicator #8). The following areas will be discussed: a) IFSP with transition steps and services; b) notification of LEA of a child potentially eligible for Part B; and c) the transition conference. Discussion will center on the implementation of this requirement in the service area and procedures necessary to ensure compliance. Participants are required to bring a child's file with a transition plan in it. During the session, participants will examine the file to learn how documentation may or may not illustrate compliance with all requirements.
This T&TA session will be tailored to the specific needs of a service area; therefore, registration will be limited to participants within the designated service area.
