On January 26 and 27, 2009, Jennifer Huisken-LaPointe from North Central Regional Resource Center will be at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn providing IT Kit training for all Early On Coordinators. This training will provide Early On Coordinators with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the connections between the IT Kit, the CIMS-2 process, and corrective action planning. Fee: The Michigan Department of Education will cover the cost of the training materials, breakfast, and lunch. Local school districts will be responsible for covering lodging and travel as part of their special education compliance activities.
